Gait

Gait is another medical word, and it refers to your natural walking stride. You know, your strut. People living with MS may have issues with their natural stride due to a whole bundle of factors: muscle weakness, muscle tightness or spasticity, balance problems, numbness, and fatigue. This can lead to falls, but physical therapy and assistive devices can provide a good line of defense.
